CSA Partners
This chart shows the organizations who hosted our CSA drop-off sites for 26 weeks during the Summer and Fall. Organizations committed their resources to ensure there was a dedicated coordinator and contact person on staff, regular open hours, and communication with delivery drivers and CSA customers.

The size and color of each block corresponds to the number of events that took place with each organization: large red blocks represent organizations with the most events, followed by gold and lastly, green.

Providence Youth Student Movement (PrYSM)
longtime CSA distribution partner in Providence, RI; held overnight retreats, meetings, and volunteer days on the farm for many years. met on the land for strategy sessions as well as to celebrate a major campaign win: a city-wide ordinance aimed at creating police accountability.

Movement Education Outdoors
sent youth to the farm to volunteer and learn

CAMP RYSE
brought over 100 youth to the farm two years in a row

supported MGF and held church services on the land once a year

Grief Rituals
a collaborative effort with many healers; organized by the Resist Foundation and open to social justice networks in Boston and New England.

Boston Liberatory Space Council
held half day on-farm retreats and some overnight camping excursions for their members as they reflected on their journey to create liberatory movement spaces.

Bar Mitzvahs
two Bar Mitzvah celebrations were held at the farm by a csa family

Asian American Resource Workshop (AARW)
longtime csa distribution partner in Dorchester, MA; also gathered on the land for staff retreats and get-aways.

Eastern Woodland Rematriation
An intertribal mutual support network for food producers and land workers; they tended to an acre on the land for two years and held multiple volunteer days and family oriented events on the land

Direct Action for Rights & Equality
A long time csa distribution partner, held a gathering for staff and board members at the farm.

Southeast Asian Freedom Network
Hosted a three-day conference at the farm, its first-ever national gathering of community leaders who were fighting their own deportation orders

Revere Youth In Action
Held a weekend retreat at the farm.

Our Fire Collective
A collective working with Boston public school teachers and union organizers; held annual retreats at the farm for multiple years.

Alliance of Rhode Island Southeast Asians for Education (ARISE)
A youth organization - that successfully fought for the inclusion of Ethnic Studies in Providence public schools - held full-day gatherings at the farm several summers in a row.

Lefty Loosey Bike Collective
Donated bicycles to the farm and held an overnight camping retreat for their staff.

Held workshops at the farm and in '23 began a partnership stewarding a quarter acre of land and provided much needed labor support during MGF’s last two years.

an annual alternative- economy- inspired event where community members were invited to trade products that they made with locally grown or sourced ingredients

Pocasset Pokanoket Land Trust
This tribe traces their ancestry directly to the lands of present-day Tiverton; they provided technical assistance on a video project and reserved use of the farm for an event.

The Neighborhood Developers
Held a full day retreat at the farm

Animal Processing Workshops
Annual workshops were held to teach slaughter skills; quail, chicken and pekin ducks were all raised and processed on the farm

Collaborated by maintaining a medicinal and culinary perennial herb garden and providing workshop instruction and support at MGF events.

an annual event that featured local chefs, farm fresh food, and a celebration of the season

Quahog Days
What started as a half-day clam foraging event became a full-day annual gathering that evolved to include a land blessing and acknowledgement, and a shared meal made with the clams that were foraged.

Olio Culinary Collective
Received MGF produce for their fundraising events supporting local nonprofits; brought their kitchen staff team out to the farm to volunteer once a month during the ‘20 growing season.

The farm opened up to CSA members and their families annually for a weekend of camping, bonfires, and onsite workshops.
